Hugh Lee Myers
Hugh Myers, a native of Cades Cove and operator of Cades Cove Riding Stables for many years, purchased and developed this property in the 1980's. At one time Myers owned the most cattle in Blount County, a few shy of 1,000 head. He was born in Cades Cove on April 21, 1928 to Charlie and Mae Shuler Myers. Myers passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren following a long and fulfilling life.
